Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost was in Lima Tuesday night at the Old Barn Out Back for the annual Top Cop banquet, hosted by Mothers Against Drunk Driving of Allen, Hardin and Putnam Counties.
MADD officials asked each department to select two officers for the Top Cop awards.
“I’m just so honored to be able to do this. It’s great to recognize the work that our officers do to keep our highways safe and save lives,” said Yost.
Area law enforcement officers were honored for what they do to keep impaired drivers off the road.
